ADD is a sister operation to DV8. I was considering the DV8 front skid, but didn't like the "from the side-of-the-plate" access to the oil filter for changes and that the residual oil from pulling the filter would just build up on the topside of the plate after dripping off the cross member so no easy way to divert that without removing the main plate. Design flaw IMHO. Nice folks though. Talked to the sales person and recommended the changes and she said she'd kick my thoughts up to the design guys for Version 2. This bumper design makes me wonder about their design as the recovery points are nicely welded to the bumper but can't see how well the bumper's mounted to the frame. I do like how the ARB frame mounted points stick through the ARB bumper. Full disclosure, I am new to this stuff so feel free to poke holes in my reasoning. Thoughts?

I like to see cutouts that allow access to the winch clutch handle. Our trucks have radiator covers inside the engine bay that block access to the winch.

I like to see recovery points forward and high. So they are not buried in mud/dirt/snow/sand. So that I can loop a soft shackle around them and a hi lift jack for lifting the front.

I like to see some semblance of a bull bar to protect the radiator from deer/ranger owners/colorado owners/assorted useless pedestrians that run into you.

I would like to see a video from the vendor that shows them actually winching stuff/ hi lifting, etc.

This mostly fits all but the last one. Seems like I will be the one having to put that video out.

Just to be clear, you know C4 doesn't do coating? I think I missed your sarcasm?

Just saw on the other forum someone posted correspondence from ARB stating March for bumper. Probably will get pricing then.

Go support a local business and get it powder coated locally… You complaining about PD issues now, just wait to you try to install it with all these sensors now. It’s take like 8 hours install bumper on these bitches now

And tbh I’d just spend a weekend raptor lining it. That’s the best bang for the buck

Toyota should delete the sensor on the Trailhunter. I know it's supposed to be an optioned uped halo truck, but it's also built and marketed to go offroad.

Looks like the ARB does not use any of the existing bumper, if that's the case the HC front bumper will be easy to sell, and if you want to go back to stock you won't be cutting up your bunper.

Not needed on the TH but if I want to do a viper cut on a bumper the sensors are going to get in the way. The sensors also need to stay functional and calibrated correctly for all the advanced saftey stuff to work. Having ADSS on an offroad truck is just a dumb idea.

Probably 10k with a winch, lights, and installation. I think the ARB will be a rare sight.
