    Hey All,

Purchased my 24' Trailhunter in late December, currently has about 2.5k on it. Seeing if anyone has modified the intake to reduce snokel noise?

Probably the only thing to do is turn the radio up.

    new thread required

    "Snorkel trading and swapping thread"

find someone to trade their non-snorkel passenger side fender for your set up
your truck color is black, so you will get a lot of takers I suspect

Change the air box to a standard Tacoma (or TRD Pro). The snorkel would be non-functional, quieter, and you'll pick up the 3hp you lost.

    Far to much money spent.
I disconnected the snorkel from inside the fender and used the air intake from inside the wheel well and removed the rubber plug for additional air intake from the grill area, this has quieted the snorkel growl if you will.
