Damn, that's a helluva price for two oil changes and two tire rotations. It's $87 with tax for an oil change for a 4th gen at my dealer and $25 for a tire rotation. Does it include anything else? We don't have anything like that here in the Northeast.

 

What's going on with the Gen 6 4Runner? I feel like at the very least, the corporate website should be live by now.

People will complain about the back seat lack of 3rd row, and it looks like an Envoy XL.

Was hoping that the '25 Tacoma Pro not having the HUD was an error on the Specs list, but the 4R Pro doesn't come with a HUD either. Doesn't make sense Pro/TH are higher trims than Limited/Platinum but don't get all of the toys?

 

Already been spotted at a few ports being unloaded. Should be very soon that dealers are trying to rape new buyers for it.

 

We’re going to have to go through the motions of it not selling before we see the $5k plus discounts that will be required for the dealers to witness a single tire kick.

The $65,000 “Cutting Edge” Platinum is likely to be popular in my zip code, especially if there is inventory. Making people wait a year for a GX 550 doesn’t seem like a good strategy. The 4Runner is likely going to cannibalize Land Cruiser and GX sales. Probably why they delayed it’s launch.

 

They will sell just fine. All the comp in that segment have moved up crazy in price as well so all tides rising. Some dealers will deal on them right out of the gate they are all about volume and others will put on an ADM. same ole dance, new dance partner.

 

Don't need a HUD blasting through the desert. Probably can't read it anyway bouncing around in the ISO seats.

 

I guess it does. The similarities in the rear side window. I forgot it does have an optional 3rd row but the 2nd and 3rd row are going to be tight. Probably not a big deal for most buyers.

I think most (maybe all) dealers have 4runner wait lists, so it could be months before the person off the street will be able to buy one. Unless it's such a weird configuration or so bloated with options that nobody on the waiting list wants it. I'm supposed to be on a waiting list (whatever that means; I think dealers make up their own (undocumented) rules for waiting lists) but haven't received any calls to accept or decline an incoming one. It didn't cost anything to be put on the list. I still may get a Taco instead. Need to see the 4R's in person.

 

I hope every owner of a 5th gen 4 runner has a strong case of FOMO and runs to the dealership to trade!!!....flood the market with 5th gens please...

Wait list? I don't find the 6G 4R all that exciting but with most new Toyotas that's what you got to do to get one.
