Yes Sir ... it also gives clearance for chains if/when I should ever need them. I plan to go 255/85/16 in a true MT for my Summer set-up. Still mulling over which tire, but I keep coming back around to Toyo MTs; my only hesitation is their weight. As I no longer daily drive the truck, weight isn't as big a concern as it once was.

 

Yeah, E load and above starts to get heavy. Anything in an SL?

 

I don't know ... haven't looked from that approach.

 

Check the Tire Rack for specs. You can filter exactly the size you want and the load rating. Not necessarily to buy from them....but they have detailed specs on all their tires
