Today is fuel line replacement on the YJ.

 

Nice. How does it compare to the stock ones? Idling? Mpg? Etc

 

I did mine at 40k just because.
I was getting many mixed findings on torque spec. from 14#'s to 32#'s. Before I was always a "tight enough" guy.
TW says one thing. Plug mfg says another. It's different depending on whether there's a washer or not. What's the engine made of?
Checking ea. old plug before removal they were all at 30#'s.
Still leery about it I put the new ones in, at 20#'s and increased 1# at a time until 28#'s and that's where I said enough is enough.
P.S.
That may be the last set of plugs that go in. Lol

 

11-12 foot pounds is all you need.

 

Wife drives it the most now until it becomes the boys to drive. She noticed the difference so that is saying something. MPG is up but that’s limited so I can update after a few thousand miles.

idles a bit better for sure and not sure why but seems a bit quieter.

Two of the plugs seemed more burnt than the others like they were loose with some blow by. I have some pics but they definitely needed to be changed.

 

I used them without gapping, dry threads last week and they're fine. I had 117'000kms on the odometer at the time. Can't say I notice any difference. None of mine were loose, I changed all six with the intake still on and torqued to 18ft-lbs because I forgot the Toyota torque and thats what the denso sheet said for the size and washer type plugs. Guess we'll find out in the next 100'000kms if I shot myself in the foot or not

I'm replasing my spark plugs but I wondering if I can use a diferent spark plugs like AUTOLITE XP5325 or I need to us the DONSO 3491

 

I just bought the
Denso 4704 | P/N IKH20TT

…..and now my head hurts….

**Do I gap them as per Toyotas recommendation of .035. Or leave them at the pre gapped .040?

**how long do they last? Denso says about 100k

**why does everyone say 4705 but rock auto and Denso show 4704?

**should I change the Coil-on-Plug boot?

$11 denso 4704 IKH20TT iridium TT spark plug, (pack of 1)

denso 4704 (per several sites, including rock auto) as well for my 2019 4 cylinder and also wondering if I adjust Gap or not.

 

Unfortunately I did not.

I just installed the 4705s in my 23 off road v6 at 62k. I didn’t adjust the gap or anything like that just installed them. And torqued to 13 ft lbs. It started just fine and when I drove around the miles for the full tank changed from 280 miles to 350-360 miles. I’m seeing if it’ll actually go empty for that many miles, but I thought was strange.
