Really surprised to hear that. One of our cars has a truetrac in it and it’s a pleasure to drive all the time. That car is north of 600hp. Another car has a Detroit locker in it (near 1,000hp) and that car is a bear on the road and sounds very much like what you describe. That car also sounds like something explodes in every tight turn when the locker lets go.

 

everyone just running a regular quad wrap limit strap as a driveshaft catch? would love to run a tube loop, but with the two piece drive shaft, it would be a significant ground clearance / break over angle killer.

 

Anyone have a pair of king Schrader valves laying around? Oring style.

 

I'm in San Diego, so it doesn't rain much here. When it does it's hasn't been an issue for me. I had an Xrunner with one, and the trutrac was awesome then as well.

I used an archive 4.1 on my soa and it lowered it a hair. I've seen something about someone using a fabricated ranger shackle to do the same.

I think I paid almost 300$ for them. You have to email him directly, he doesn't list them on his site. They are made for his midtravel sua setup. They maybe lowered the rear 1/2 an inch. Not worth it imho

 

I think that’s really all I need. Maybe that or an inch.
