    Recap on the plates:
Sent the money & those assholes send me a letter stating I 'm eight dollars short!

Something about new plates I needed to pay for.
Has anyone heard about new plates coming out???

Have you had them long enough they issue new ones? They do it every 10 years here.

WI is on a big kick to replace plates currently. For years they issued plates that peeled within a few years...then they want you to pay to replace the junk they bought.

They have a whole thing about it on the DMV web site. I recall seeing it as I was renewing one of mine last week.

I remember that, it was the red lettering that faded in the sun.

Even when they switched to the black letter plates, the 'film' that adhered to the aluminum plate, didn't after a few years...especially the front plates after they took some stone hits. In the past 2 or so years, my front plate had big chunks that peeled right off. About the only thing there was the letters/numbers.

So... I had this big light bar in the lower grill space. Paid way to much for it, but it is seriously bright. I even had my front receiver sent so I could modify my bumper to avoid losing the light. Anyway, the new bumper is doing away with that space so I spent some time today trying to make room for it up in the grill. It can be done. Not sure I am in for it though. I think that my DD spots will just have to suffice... Not going up top of the headache rack-that is for canoes or the such, so may not be needing this thing. I will try and figure out whose I bought and the length so if you want said light let me know. It has brackets so it fits perfectly in that lower grill area on the 2nd gen. On your own for lesser gens.

Also have a 4X Innovation front receiver/mount with modified aluminum bumper section for a second gen. I can get pictures if needed. Like to get $100 for that one. Bumper cover must be modified for this to work!

What about on the bumper, in front of the grille?

Sorry to drag a dead horse.
Last year we got new plates on the Rrav4.
The lettering and numbers were shot. New plates were under $10.00.

Sex and drugs and rock-and-roll. And muscle cars.:burnrubber::burnrubber: Seemed like there was a concert every 3 weeks. I saved all the stubs, kept them in my wallet. Plenty of room 'cause there sure wasn't any money in it. Then I lost it when I was 17. There were 85 stubs. I have no idea why (or how) I remember that.

We should go back to the "butter yellow" plates.
