Driving on interstate this morning and my check engine and slip indicator lights both came on. The truck is “bumping” a bit. 2011 with 300k miles… suggestions?

See what code(s) you have and go from there, Trac Off light will always accompany a Check Engine light on Toyota.

Was this not long after a gas fillup? A loose or incorrectly installed cap can cause this.

Worth a check. It's free and has solved what you described more than once.

    Lift?
I bought a 2009 tacoma 4cylinder recently. It came with a PO456 fault. As far as I can tell, I haven't actually used a code reader but that's what the indicators look to say with anti slip and CEL on together.

So far I did manage to clear the code by disconnecting the battery, I also had to calibrate the idle but it did clear for a day until they returned. I far as I can tell I need to check my gas cap which looks good and check a vacuum valve next by disconnecting the power to it and checking for suction.

I get pretty good millage but I'd like to see if I can get it any better than it currently is, about 600km per tank.

Any suggestions on how to track down the air leak, as I think that's what is causing the issue at the moment, would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest way is to smoke test the system. Just need to have it done by a mechanic because it's unlikely you'll have the equipment or it.
