Ok so I'll keep you in the loop whether it works or not.

I did run into a few people (probably those that were sponsored and didn't wanna say anything bad) in videos state how the Meus isokinetic axles have play in them.

Now, I thought nothing of it until I installed my Injora Prosteer axles on my SCX24 - I bring this up because I found it odd that there were o-rings on each side by the hexes.

Apparently, companies like Injora and Meus do this in an attempt to remedy some of this "play" especially with front CVD axles.

One guy found a nice fix for the issue by purchasing +1 (I assume 4mm) hexes so I included a set with my wheels from LGRP.

I'll leave the o-rings on my Injora axles, but I'll be stoked if the new hexes will remove that play both in the front and rear of my new crawler build.

Also, my links are shipping tomorrow :bananadance:

I would not use diff skids. Just one more thing lower than needed to hang up on

Gonna experiment both with and without. The 3flow9rc skids don't hang any lower. It replaces the diff covers. My reasoning for getting it is because of how square the super 8 diffs are. Literally a 90 degree angle. To me, that seems like a hang up issue.

I’ve never got stuck on the rear. The front I have a couple times when you just don’t have enough room to get around something without backing up.

Decided to just wait for everything like you. No sense in teasing myself . I'd be more tempted if I already had the hardware kit

Since my links will be coming from NC, I take it I won't be ready to build it until next week

But tomorrow I'll be swinging by the hobby shop to grab some paint

I went out this morning and promptly stripped the spur gear on Fat Pig. I ordered a Robinson Racing 87t which should arrive about the same time the V2 motor mount plate arrives for the DSM chassis I'm running.
    1000009817.jpg
Skinny Pig's motor/esc and servo arrives tomorrow but the BTA servo mount is running late. So that gives us some time to work on Franken Pig as nothing is actually drivable now. :D

Wheels and tires for the bouncer finally showed up from Sweden. Center caps look way better than the nut.

This one may be officially done.

@Kwikvette @Strictlytoyz , did either one of you get the Furitek Stellar Transmission with the Mini Komodo?
I saw this on Amain and wondered if it might be an issue...
    NOTE:
    • This transmission is only compatible with the FCX24 when paired with the optional Furitek Grasshopper Brass Flat Skid Plate (FUR-2229 - sold separately)
I didn't see anything on Mazz about problems with different transmissions.

When I looked up the skid plate, it said this.

"This is an optional skid plate intended for the Furitek FCX24 Grasshopper chassis."

So maybe it's just for the Furitec Grasshopper, whatever the hell that is.
    Any thoughts?
I'll change the transmission before I change the skid plate, that's part of the cheat code.

The Mazz skid is made to accept any setup meant for an SCX24.

The nice thing about Mazz though is that they allow you to orient the motor/transmission forward or back versus forward only like other chassis kits.

I went with an LGRP transmission though but plenty of youtubers have used the Stellar transmission on a Mazz chassis.
