    lol
I did end up meeting them after work, proud new owner of a very cheap and old drill press

Think I'm going to take my neighbor up on the fab job for him building a bumper, figured I might as well spend any money I might make on that on new tools before even agreeing to anything lol

Think I'm going to pick up a corded portable bandsaw as well. I really hate using my abrasive chop saw

    Pretty much every dealer here.
Some don't even bother with photos at all for new stock, just put the manufacturer 3D renders up on listings haha. Who cares if its a completely different color and trim with different options!

Its horrible, we just deep cleaned the garage this weekend to get it all out

I'm thinking one of these; On a side note, I found my garage floor has built in drains in the expansion joints. None of the water from 3 pressure washer passes went down the driveway, it all went down the cracks and never filled up.. I imagine thats a bad sign, glad I'm a renter lol

Didn't HF also come out with a small table setup to use as a horizontal bandsaw?

Though you can always make your own.

Yeah but it costs more than the saw lol At that point you're getting pretty close to just buying their horizontal bandsaw, I'd probably regret buying something that big though

Make your own, you're an engineer :luvya:

Real talk, you'll never regret buying a larger setup. Buy one used and you'll save a ton.

Buying that would mean giving up parking in the garage, I've already lined both walls of the garage with all my shit, theres really no where else to slide that in

Its been hard, cant even have a solid workbench, I use a sheet of plywood on a couple sawhorses at the moment. But I do enjoy my car not being 35 in the morning right now, or 140 on a summer afternoon

    Ahh gotcha.

Dang, but really I love having one and use it often. And I've never found myself wanting a portable one but I understand the space constraints.

If you do shift things around definitely check out the used market.

An old ass 2004 variant from HF.

    I got it for free.

I had to replace the starting capacitor, the blade (had an old chipped blade on it), bearings, and I modified the guide to give me square cuts. All in I spent under $50 for everything to bring it up to snuff.

Theres a couple like that for sale around here, but people want like $300 for them
I had the same problem when looking for a shop press (another thing I still really need but its big), its either more 'professional' brands for $500+, or a 25 year old HF for the same as a brand new one from HF
