Haha I love it. 16” back to 0” in 24 hours or less.

 

I steered clear of SPCs for their commonly reported ball joint and bushing failures. Just threw on some Accutune UCAs and getting the truck aligned now. Main thing is to get a quality alignment from a shop that knows what they're doing.

 

Man, that's wild to hear. Guess Ive been out of the mid travel UCA game too long. When I got mine they were told go-to. Pretty much them, total chaos, and camburg. Total chaos was having big time uniball noise issues and camburg were way expensive.

 

Total Chaos is still having uniball issues as well. My buddy goes through multiple a year on both his uppers and lowers.

 

Wearing out or just noisy? He running stainless or chrome? He should try a different uniball manufacturer if he's going through them so often.

 

Pretty sure he's running the TC stainless replacement uniballs. Keep wearing out causing excessive play and noise.
Another friend with a 4Runner has the same issue.

 

They both either need to change how they maintain them, or change the manufacturer. Seems crazy to keep putting the same thing back in with how many companies make them.

 

To clarify, I meant change the uniball manufacturer, not the entire upper control arm. TC uses standard size uniballs that you can get all over the place.
