I had their chop saw/upright saw stand for my Milwaukee deepcut bandsaw. Its cool, kinda awkward on a cordless one. A corded bandsaw would be a better option because you can get the foot pedal.

Same here but then there's that random Jet that's only asking $50 or a nice Ellis for only $1k (fucking missed out on that one)

I was also looking for a drill press like you, but man I would've had no help getting one of those large setups to my house so I got a small one

What drill press did you get

Im on the lookout for a cheap horizontal band saw. I already have multiple drill presses and a upright band saw.

Damn, sold my spare for $200 a couple months ago. Didn't make sense to have two when I hardly use the one now that the Evo is around.

Yeah theres one jet but its $850 :bananadead:

Its an older blue Ryobi 10". It was cheap and ran smooth, thats about all I know about it. The same guy also had an old 1979 Duracraft drill press he wanted to get rid of, was pretty cool and probably higher quality than the one I chose. Thing shook bad though, didn't really want to open that can of worms

Measure the runout on that thing, and if it's pretty bad (and everything is tight) you can opt for a replacement chuck

It's what I did on mine and it's way better than what it came with

One cut here or there... Not usually although a good portion of the time I have my headphones in if I'm in the shop alone. If there's a whole bunch of stuff I'm cutting for a project then yeah I have some muffs on

Might as well just pick up a 5 axis continuous Protolabs CNC machine

Rather than cut to length, I can mill out to exact dimensions from large stock :burp:

My friend (a Subaru enthusiast) has a theory that all turbo Subaru owners are exactly the same, in the worst way possible.

    Recent evidence:

    - A woman selling an EJ25 long block that "ran when it was pulled but we decided to go a different direction" alongside a turbo that needed to be rebuilt because it seized. Seized turbo means bearing glitter in the oil, which means galled cam journals if not addressed immediately. The woman confirmed that the turbo was previously mated to the long block, but when asked about the cam journals, she stopped responding. The listing was deleted (presumably after the engine sold) so he wasn't able to leave a review; she still has a 5-star seller rating.
    - An Outback XT that had a crack in an exterior trim piece poorly photoshopped over in a close-up picture (but still visible in other pictures: https://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/d/usaf-academy-2005-subaru-outback-xt/7818594621.html).
    - A WRX mislabled as an STI, with acknowledgement that the engine failed buried as deep as possible in the listing (https://santafe.craigslist.org/cto/d/el-prado-2004-subaru-wrx-sti/7818131295.html)
