In case you fellows use Verizon for your cell - I got a message offering a $10/line loyalty discount for 12 months. Called 611 (customer service) and in about 15 minutes had a new savings.

Got to get the wife's car inspected after work today, the deputy who gave her a ticket yesterday said the sooner the better.

Totally my fault, been needing to do it just haven't done it. It's only been 16 months since we moved :anonymous:

Virginia requires a sticker on the window and it's pretty obvious when there isn't one there :anonymous::anonymous:

Must be a regional thing. I have never had a vehicle inspected.

It's a money racket. N.C. requires you to have it inspected before you can renew your tags but they don't put a sticker on the window any longer.

Virginia requires a sticker but don't require it to be inspected before getting tag renewal.

There are positive things and negative about where I live. One big positive is.. no emissions, no inspection. I do enjoy that

The only thing ND cares about when getting new tags is if the vehicle is insured.

Speaking of, I need to get my new tags put on the truck.

Years ago N.C. required emissions testing on most all cars. Friend of mine had a 1977 Trans Am with a 455 in it. They didn't know how to spell emissions when that thing was made.

We took it to get inspected one year and they did the sniffer test and it wouldn't pass so we went and put some of this in it and drove it to Virginia and back and had it restested, it passed.
