Tried the search bar but wasn't finding my answer. With Darton Sleeves, BC Rods, Cp pistons how much boost pressure can I run? Have the pistons, rods, cometics, arp studs already. 64/68 t4 turbonetics

I'd like 30psi e85+meth but expensive build to break right away. Just wondering how much boost pressure others have gotten up to.

I have seen some around 30psi, but those engines had custom aluminum intake manifolds.

For that matter, I have been reluctant to push past 18 psi on my OEM plastic manifold.

Due to the ACIS flap only being held by two small screws into a plastic shaft, coupled with what I had heard a lot of from other Japanese branded cars with plastic manifolds, I just wanted to error on the cautious side. I have never had it pressure tested.

Those are some pretty high compression ratios you'd be approaching. I think the HG gonna be your weakness up there. Assuming you don't have like O rings done? 20psi is probably more realistic. Did you do anything to the heads?

I've got Cometic gaskets made for my 96.5mm pistons. I wasn't sure if you could o rings these motors with the darton sleeves installed, has anyone done it? So 20 psi is realistic with the plastic manifold. I have an extra one we could pressure test sometime at a buddies shop lol. I talked to a guy in New Zealand last year that was willing to make custom aluminum manifolds for $1500.

I'm the 3rd owner of this setup with some changes to it. The pipes I've been told were made by Powerfab performance in Texas.

I meant to do the pressure test, and there are a couple handfuls of people that would alo take the manifold.

Yes you can do the o-ring upgrade. Simply a matter of machining.
