Selling a gently used Garrett Gt3076r turbo.

Got this from my friend as a spare for my truck (I have the same turbo). Its from one of his weekend play cars so doesn't have many miles and hasn't been over 10.5psi.

Spins great, no issues. Has a divided .83 V band exhaust housing on it (spendy piece).

Also has the removable air inlet horn.

I thought of making another hotside kit and selling them together. Lmk if you are interested in that.

Looking to let the turbo go for SOLD

    Located in Phoenix Az.

What is the power range for this turbo. I have the stock block out of my truck I’m about to start building and I may be interested.

You can check it out on the Garrett website, just search Gt3076r.

That's the max crank power. I run this same turbo on my stock 5vz between 6 and 10psi and it's great.

What RPM did it typically start spooling on your 5VZ set up?

Almost imitate. It probably should have the 1.03 housing instead of .82, but I really wanted response/midrange for most of the trails I run. Mine is open .82 btw

It's a pretty good size for a 3RZ, maybe a touch small for a 5VZ unless you don't mind the power falling off uptop a bit. Hell of an excellent price either way though

    Define pretty good size?
I’m a diesel so I’m trying to learn turbos for gas engines.
Can I DD that size I’m not going for power just looking to fun and usability.

Oh yeah, 3076 on a 2/3RZ is about perfect for response and power really, buddy has a 3071 (slightly smaller impeller) on his 2RZ and that thing rips.

    Nearly 340lbs of torque and 316hp at the wheels with a 2RZ and a 3071. 3076 be about perfect for a 3RZ

What would you want for the hot side kit and the turbo shipped to SoCal?

I probably shouldn't make the downpipe since I didn't fixture it. I would be guessing. Maybe I make the top half and you finish the rest.

Thank you for the response! I’m just starting to look into the Turbo option and didn’t realize it cost so much for the rest of the gear needed to build out a turbo. I need to start saving some duckets. Lol. Good luck on the sale!
