Someone in our hunting group ran into a wolf pack in September during archery opening weekend. He didn't see anything all month and we didn't see anything other than moose all of second rifle. Didn't even see a damn grouse.

Almost ran over a small herd of Elk outside of Silverthorne though.

Got into some strong smell a few times but in some real dark and steep areas. Saw tons of old sign from a few months prior.
I saw 1 grouse and a moose paddle haha. Where was the small heard at? North a bit towards Kremling?

Looks great! I'm still waiting on mine and that was just a euro mount.

The gentlemen who did mine said he did 140 euro mounts from the 2023 season. Unsure of how many shoulder mounts but had a few in there and was working on a bobcat.
I gave him a bit of extra work cause I cut just a tad too high up the chest when field dressing.. whoops

Who did you go with? I used Artiodactyla Trophy Services in Indian Hills. He only does euro mounts but seems to do great work for a reasonable price. I'm not complaining about it at all. He was very clear on his timeline when I dropped it off. He also had a impressive backlog collection when I dropped off.

Oh that silly ridiculous new tax. And we all know how badly it will be misused and abused by politicians and their "friends" that will receive it...to help those it's supposed to provide support/services.

I want to start a petition for a 6% additional tax on alcohol to help support mental health and addiction recovery services. Alcohol and substance abuse are far greater problems in this state than gun violence. I wonder how many of those that were all for the additional tax on guns and ammo would support it. Hmmm
