I don't even know why I went LGRP for my transmission either...

Only reason I went this route was because it was a combo deal and Cape Crawlers did a video on one, and that sold me. Plus it's red. :)
I checked the Furitec Grasshopper, it's just another lcg SCX24 frame, by Furitec, that apparently doesn't fit their transmission. It's intended for the stocker. There must be some centering pins or something on the stock plastic skid to hold it in place. Just a guess.
    Frame will be here Friday.
Motor/esc is supposed to be Friday, but tracking says it hasn't left N.C. yet. Might be snowing.
Bulk of the kit will be here tomorrow.
Axles are somewhere over the ocean. Maybe late next week.

I went with the stellar trans. Matter of fact it just got delivered. I can do a test fit on the mazz skid if you need. Just let me know. I saw no mention of fitment issues on furiteks website. He looks to be running the stellar trans/mini komodo with the mazz ccv3 in this video

I'm glad you all are figuring this all out for me. I need to replace my driveshafts skid trans and chassis on both of mine. I just wish you all had gone with different stuff so I could hear the complaints.

I printed the ccrc scx24 wall hanger stands at the library. They came out pretty nice. Need to see where I mount them in the garage but they may work with pegboard or 3m double sided tape.

Bought a variety pack of painter's tape for creating lines/guides for painting the body.

I did say I'm going grey but maybe I can incorporate some black for a two tone

Have a lot around here into the planes. Actually have an rc airport in our county and a bigger one about 50 miles south. Also had a track for the cars but shut it down.

These wall hangers are great. Will be even more convenient when I upgrade the motor and esc and can use the futaba receiver and get rid of the rtr pos
