I got a 3 inch leveling kit on a 2023 SR I'm trying to figure out the biggest tires I can run without having to worry about cutting or rubbing.

A lift doesn't help clear any bigger tires. Soooooo skinny 33's (the same as a stock truck)

You should be expanding your question with the wheel specs

You will have to trim a little and get a near perfect alignment. Or cut the cab mount.

Somebody needs to update that, some of the offsets have been wrong since it was created and still haven’t been updated.

you can fit up to 40 inches maybe even 42 inches. Now driving it, that’s a different story

Sorry to hear that (if it's a spacer lift)... Anywho if you stick to stock rims, you will have less chance of rubbing with those 285's. Once you change the offset, than anything goes.

Yup, the chance is always there. It really is hit or miss with each Taco.

if he has a spacer lift then it technically would help as its limiting up travel.

those fit stock with the right offset. around +10. stock wheel with a 3/4" spacer will achieve this.

Even with a 1.5" spacer (3" at the hub) lift, the centerline of the hub will still pass the cab mount at full stuff (bottomed out shock) so the lift will help from the tire hitting the upper inner fender, however it will still hit the cab mount first and rub. But yes, fully stuffing a spacer lifted truck without putting a bump stop spacer on will use the shock as the bump stop and destroy the shock. So tire rubbing is the least of anyone's concern...haha
