And sometimes they do have small-but-meaningful differences. There are two different switch designs between all those pictures I found. Maybe some are just old photos, but I could see folks have a preference between the lockout-style and pushbutton switches.

Different warranties or availability can matter, too. I might willingly paying more for the HF version because I can pick it up off a shelf today and take it back to a store if there are any issues with it.

For my last, I went through HD for my MIL discount as well as being able to inspect the box/packaging since I did an in-store pick up.

No shipping charge going that route either.

 

Same, I'm in no rush and it's just truck or tool money. I had the locks listed at $40 half price of new. A few offers of $20. Not worth my time responding. I'd rather throw stuff like this in the thrift store donations box.

Ah man I grew up with those TVs, I'd have one in a second if they were still viable! How nobody has at least made a wood framed modern model blows my mind.
Also, all of our TVs used to be on the floor, so we never had to look up like weirdos in awe of some electronic god.
