The link for today’s launch shows the broadcast will start on 1/16/25 at 4:15 CST.

Edit: I’m assuming it’s CST but the link in the tweet says the window for the flight begins at 4:00..

 

Yet another NG-1 hold. Go figure.

 

Boat in the range, not on them and they did launch and make orbit. Not bad for a first launch of a brand new rocket. Waiting to find out what happened to stage 1 after the engines relit.

 

True. I’m actually surprised they may have lost stage 1. I kinda thought that with all the time they spent trying for perfection that they had a fair chance of pulling it off.

 

It’s cool but knowing the quality of data and live feed we can get from the competition kinda takes the wow factor away. A few grainy/blurry images just can’t compare to SpaceX gives us these days.

 

As entertaining as it is they aren’t doing it for the audience even though once they get Kuiper up that could improve. They should still be able to provide live feed of landings when those happen. I’m still just not anticipating many launches until we start seeing many rockets and a lot more engines so Kuiper will be awhile coming.
