Aftermarket gill/pcs sencor

So I've put a aftermarket Baja mesh grill on my Tacoma and had to move the pcs sensor to the bottom of the grill.now I can dive about 10 miles before it shuts off my pcs system and tells me to clean sensor...any thoughts on this?? Wondering if it needs recalibration or something..

 

Yes it needs to be recalibrated.

Ugh.thanks..i talked to one of the local toy dealers gonna be like 200-250 to do so.sure makes for an expensive grill upgrade.

 

You can try shimming it yourself first. Lots of info on here about it.

Well back to the drawing board or the dealer the shiming didn't cure the issue of pcs shutting off again after driving a while..thanks anyway for the thought

 

If you can return your truck to the factory condition and use an angle gauge to measure the back of the radar sensor. Then duplicate that angle for the new setup.
