I ordered and installed the roof rack and it is excellent. Very quiet and well built. Very likely that it can hold 2-3 times the claimed weight limit.

 

The roof rack looks exactly like what I wanted!
I will have to put it on the list for the future.

Are the install instructions online?

Is it as simple as it looks?
Take off the rubber strips and bolt it into some existing holes?

 

Yes. I went a step further and used black rubberized caulk to cover the bolts and even put plastic caps over that but that is just my OCD kicking in.

Roof rack arrived today. I installed on the truck. 1st impression is so so. Not fully impressed. The mechanism that latches has too much movement in it. That could prove to be a weak point and a source of unwanted noise.

 

That is not what I wanted to hear. I was thinking about ordering one. I like the modular idea.
