Ha it's painted, poorly really but I learned a lot just having it done once.

Can't wait until the paint cures so I can throw another coat or two of white underneath, then finally peel the outer plastic.

Back to RC.... I like the lil mini crawler (I got like 200 into an ascent 18) but man... I cant justify going full out on a 4/5/6+ hundred dollar build on a lil tiny thing. Dont get me wrong the mini builds are cool as fuu and its awesome to see the technology and performance on that scale level.

But you hit a certian point dollar wise where a 1/10 will be able to perform leaps and BOUNDS better.

But damnit I also get the freakin cool factor.

I slapped a big ol 850mah 3s lipo i use in my 1/10 in my lil red ascent 18 with the mods described in a previous post on the stock electronics and damnit.... I kinda wanna get a lil 300ish mah 3s lipo for the thing, the extra punch was nice for the here and there you need it.

    Thanks!

If I can make a few suggestions in case you decide to do it yourself -

Do the light colors first and do multiple coats OR do it absolutely last, such as the fluorescent yellow.

I actually used this color after I sprayed the blue and purple, which wasn't an issue but it was when I laid down a coat of orange.

The orange just overpowered the yellow easily even after being careful not to spray over it so it came out a little weird.

Also, I would lay the soap a bit thicker as a few areas were too thin forcing me to scrape it off with q-tips. The paint layer on top of the soap stuck pretty well with the rest of the paint so I wasn't able to wash out the soap as easily as I thought I could.

There's just something about peeling that plastic off the body once you're done painting

Looks like my hardware kit is moving again. It's on a neighbor island. Should be here tomorrow. Wheels, shocks, and driveshaft will be here Monday. All I'll be waiting on is my steering servo and body. Slowly but surely!

I do not, have looked at it a few times but not worth the cost considering you might have to get the metal tracks. Does look like fun to plow small sections of sidewalk.
I do however have my Savage tightened, locked, lubed and ready for 3-6 inches of fluffy powder.

Just got the frame, tiny little thing. Looks pretty good.
Just gonna say, for the price, he really should include screws. At least the ones needed to attach the plates to the included parts.

Same as yours. There is nuts, but no screws. Not the end of the world, Bezo's can deliver by tomorrow. So it won't be done by noon
3D parts look really nice, stickers are sweet, CF looks precise. Overall, a nice looking frame kit.
Just needs the screws for the skids, battery tray, sliders, etc...
