Sprinkling of rain last night in Prescott area , I thought I was crazy at first

flagstaff got a dusting but I think it’ll burn off quick

 

We got a little dusting/frost here in show low. Pretty much already melted off.

funny the snow line was almost smack dab on the yavapai / coconino county line

 

It was basically lakeside for us. So right at 7k feet was the difference between rain or snow.

 

As an aside ... I want to drive to Greer eventually jus to see what the hype is about. The path from PHX east along 60 will likely go through Show Low or return through. What is a good place for food in Show Low or Greer?

Yep takes you right in and through showlow then pinetop up to greer.
Food places to hit. Breakfast go to Darbys in pinetop. Lunch early dinner in greer is molly butlers.

And edit to say there isnt anything in greer to do. Its a small town with vacation rentals. Really beautiful and I would love to live there but nothing going on. Lots of forest roads to explore in the area and thats it.

I have a 3 day weekend so I will drive up to Vegas to check look at neighborhoods near Black Mountain (Henderson, SE Vegas). Not sure if I can handle the "average 10 degrees colder than PHX" at 3000 ft there, but puts me 5 hours close to DV if I want to have that handy. But the Vegas BS thread is almost dead, it seems, so need to pre-investigate.
