3G was salty and 4G was clean.

Had the 3G been clean and the 4G salty my opinion may have been different, had the 4G been first and the 3G was to follow, I might have preferred the 3G. I'm not sure what made me make that decision.

Is this the truck I saw earlier? It was white, it was clean. Do you have a 3way ball trailer hitch in the reciever?

And you can still get a 4th gen TRD Off Road today with a couple of adds (not the entire kitchen sink) for under 42K before ttl

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
    Not here.

The cheapest TRD ORs are $48K. Tech package and sunroof bumps it up to $52K.

What level of effort have you put forth rooting out the best price in your area? Never mind the advertised price I mean digging in.

I just have a hard time with the midi dash, it doesn't seem trust worthy

No, and honestly it looks ugly, especially the rear.

The colorado and canyon look like what the 4g taco should have been.

I saw a Colorado ZR2 Bison today in Denver, and I have to say it looked bad ass - and comes with 35s from factory- could def slide some 37s on there with minimal effort.

Wow that sounds cool, didn't know they came with 35's!
Just the shape of the colorado/canyon looks to me what the taco should have been.

My buddy has a 2021 zr2 bison and it looks great but IMO the bumpers suck, the sliders look too small and the tires are just 31s. The electronic shocks work really well but I don't know about their lifespan....or if they're rebuildable. I had to spend a boatload on the Fox/Eibach/Deaver stuff to get something that's close.

Excited about owning both in a few more years when they get all the problems resolved. It will be glorious. By then they will have better colors, more options, etc.

None. I'm not in the market for a new one. Just quoting some prices from the biggest dealership in the KC area. (I was in there earlier this week picking up a part.)

Just out of curiosity, where are people seeing '24 or '25 Off Roads for the Toyota MSRP of $42K?

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Only if something happens to mine to the point I have to replace it, then a manual 4th gen is on my list of considerations, along with some full sized V8 pickups

The sunroof is person preference but I have a base off road , and I get it I have no leather, which is fine for me, but all the other stuff I wouldn’t even use . So I think I would get a base off road if I were to get a 4 G . I actually like the way they look . I like both 3G and 4G .

No matter the prices are, whoever wants a Tacoma will pay it. Once the stock on the last Generation are sold out then owners will have no choice to pay the price or buy used.

Base off road in the 3rd gen was 2wd. My base 2019 long bed off road with tech package ($800 IIRC) was 38k. 4x4 off road started at $36,765
