Hey everyone, I'm looking at getting a camper shell for my '96 (single cab long bed). Is anyone in the area looking at selling one soon? I'm near Chattanooga but willing to drive some distance. I have had zero luck on marketplace so far and the few new ones still in production are astronomically priced, figured posting on TW might be worth a shot.

I’ve got a Silver one from my xtra-cab long bed. Not sure if it’ll work, but I’m in Woodstock, GA about 2.5ish hours south of you. No way to meet in the middle either as I’ve got a different shell on my truck

I assume its the one in a couple of pictures of your build thread? Looks to be about exactly what I'm wanting, and as far as I know it should fit. How much do you want for it?

I did, I traded it to Black Tie Automotive a small local dealer who loves Toyotas.

It’s been gone from there for a couple weeks to an older guy in Crossville. It sold within a couple days of them putting it online.

Nice, I've been considering trading my 2013 in for a tundra as well. Afraid to see how low the dealer offers for trade in though lol

Sell your Taco privately first and then buy the Tundra.

These guys gave me a really fair deal, I gave them $1,000 on top of the trade and saved more than that in sales tax. They listed my Tacoma for about $1k more than the Tundra and took care of everything I pointed out on the Tundra.
I’m probably going to sell them back the wheels that came on the new truck too cause I got rock warriors from a friend.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
We've officially started our build near Dunlap. Footers are dug and get poured Monday. Gravel drive goes in today. We should be in TN by the end of May if the time line holds.

Anyone near Dunlap or an hour or so away? I wouldn't mind meeting some of you and getting out some of the trail info.

One of the first guys I went off road with had built Prerunner. He kept saying "It's all about the skinny pedal!"

The pic of my truck was taken there. A few friends came down the week we purchased our property and we spent two days on the trail. I drove up from Chattanooga, so it's close enough to day trip.

I didn't build a super truck. I told the crew here I didn't build it to break it. And I try not to go too far alone. We did about 15 miles of River Road West in Big Bend. We were cutting fresh tracks in soft River bed and I wondered if I'd made a mistake going out that far. No winch points, no sand anchor at 113 degrees. Oops.
