So I'm planning on getting TRD Cat Back exhaust and looking for a unique look. My plan is to not have any chrome on the truck and I was wondering if it's worth it to get the exhaust tip power coated flat black.

I'd appreciate any advice on the subject. If anyone has powder coated their exhaust tip, I'd love to see some pictures.

I ceramic coated mine, and painted the rest of the exhaust with black high temp paint

I've been doing a little more reading around and it sounds like ceramic coating is the way to go. I still have some high temp flat black paint left over from when I painted the radiator.

Rashnu - Do you happen to have any photos of your exhaust?

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Hit up a local Powder Coating place. Most should also do Ceramic Coating which can actually take the heat of the exhaust. I had my tip ceramic coated in flat black.

Just go to an Auto Parts store you can get high-temp header paint for about $6 bucks in matte black. Than you can always retouch it up if you need to. The results look pretty professional if you do it right.
