probably low on freon or your reversing valve isn't working correctly. you should hear the reversing valve engage when the unit is frosted over, it'll thaw it out, and switch to strip heat while that is happening.

 

Think the ol girl would benefit from cleaning the throttle body?

 

It’s only a few more bolts to pop it off. Might as well.

 

It’s all put back together now. This was just from doing the spark plugs last week. I just forgot about it until now.

 

Has anyone in here done the needle bearing delete with the ECGS bushing? If so, wanna make a little cash and help/do another one?

 

yes! Clean the MAF too while you’re at it.

 

I’ve done it on other cars and never noticed a difference but they also weren’t quite as dirty.

Just picked up a couple bags of rocks and have some good parking lots scoped out. Ready to go for this week.

 

It’ll reverse and thaw itself, but only after it hits the selected temp of the thermostat. If it can’t reach that temp then it turns into a popsicle. Neighbors with the same unit are having the same problems. Oh well
