    I was told that when I was little (under 5yrs) I got frostbite on my cheek during a blizzard when I was out too long. I have very little recollection of this except for the terrors of my brother's explanation of what frostbite was. That said, looking back, I didn't think that would be possible. Unless there is some mild version? Is that a thing?

    I know parents warn about that stuff jokingly, but I can assure you, they were not kidding.

    If you ever enter subzero conditions you’ll know. It will be the first areas to freeze. I marvel at Folks who can txt quickly. Suppose I could if I could ever feel my finger tips. Ears are pretty bad too.

    @World2405 she's right!!

    It's one thing to suffer and cope
    But you don't need to make it worse freezing when you don't have to!!
    Get the mattress pad!
    It's a small thing that will make these trying times a wee bit easier
    You deserve to at least be warm in bed

    We know your tough
    We all appreciate what you have done for the rest of us

    First draft was plural, but alas, depending on how you read it, it could be an entirely different subject that for some odd reason, I think a lot of guys here might be more familiar with.

    LOL yep..."Dude, what's wrong with your hand?!" "It's cool, my arteries are malfunctioning, no biggie."

    What ones do you have? I tried some $$$ gloves from Outdoor Research and then some ski brand I don't recall; but the former didn't seem to do much for me (albeit just a quick jaunt in the yard with doggo), and the latter broke apart in shipping so I took that as a bad sign for durability.

    This is actually my signature dance move! Was great when that Taylor lady had that one song about doing it too..

    Say what?

    Not sure if I want to investigate, but I've got that morbid curiosity thing.

    Also, holy crap, this is a busy thread..
