I'm not up to speed on specific years/models but I can tell you, I love me a healthy sounding VR6

Think it's the MK4 VR6 that sounds good

I knew someone with an Audi TT vr6, what a sound.
They did a Spice Red in some of the MK5s I think, which is what popped in my head from his post, after that I think it was all Tornado Red, so more Fire Engine-y.

Pulling that panel isn't fun when you can't open the door. Not the best hangover project.

The two screws hold the panel so damn tight you almost don't need them....if you're okay with some occasional rattling.

My drivers side is the one I've pulled a bunch, first time for the passenger, I almost hated having to peel the barrier haha. I have a few new ones stashed in the storage unit for a rainy day. Fun bonus was some wetness inside the bottom of the door. Hoping its just sweat.

 

@Kwikvette Actually I put new door handles on it twice now that I think of it. I must've just cleaned up well.

 

Was gonna say, pulling the door panels on these is super easy.

That is until I saw your latest post - pulling it off with the door closed.
