Not the outcome I hoped for. But great to watch a honest game.

 

Washington stunned everyone with that win. Any given Sunday.

 

Sad the lions lost but happy for commanders.

I'm upset, if my back up ravens win, it means I have to watch a freaking KC game.

Still rooting for them, but dreading the AFC game.

I got tired out that first game...Texans were not "Playoff Prepared" for that environment.

Even the most seasoned playoff team would have found it difficult to win in KC.

The second game was MUCH better...too bad I switched it off and fell asleep at halftime.

Not enjoying late games in these later years of my life.

One team will have to go into KC and play the Best Defense switching out fresh bodies to keep the pressure on Mahomes.

Visiting Offense Coordinators should design plays that include non high-visibility players.

If the visiting offensive line opens holes for RB, give them a heavy dose of the running game.

Catch them off-guard with pass plays.

It can be done...beating the Chiefs at their house.

Make it "without a doubt" dominant force that referees can't call enough flags to stop.

That's what the Commanders did and you could see the Lions shoulders drop.

First game today is at 3pm and the second game is at 6:30pm--much better PrimeTimes to watch a Playoff Game.

 

I thought it was a bit ominous that the Lions had to beat the Niners in a shoot out when the Niners offense has been so anemic all season.

 

By your 3rd sentence I knew we were pretty much the same age LOL. I retired from the Navy in 96. Actually with terminal leave Dec. 95.

Advantage of being in the Upper Midwest is the second game, the one that I care about, starts at 5:30. Dogs let me sleep in until almost 6 this morning but may take a nap before the games today, just in case. And just because.

Was in the Gulf in 91 so didn't get to see the Bills go to the first big show but one of my sisters got me a sweatshirt that I still have



Tis a tit bit nipply here today and the cold hurts the bones and joints at my age

I'll keep wearing it for Bills games if\when they keep playing I have worn it for the games over the last month or so. If they loose I'm pretty much done with football for the year.

I'm as old as the SB but won't be 59 until June.

You and the Minnesota Vikings had some great teams.

It's baffling that any one of those appearances did not produce a Vince Lombardy Trophy for either team.

First things first...Let's enjoy this one from the City of Brotherly Love at 3pm.

 

First of all, thank you for your service. I was at the Bills-Chiefs ‘93 AFC title game where they smoked us after Joe Montana went out injured early. One of only 2 road games I’ve ever gone to. BTW, that was our ONLY AFC Title appearance ever, before Mahomes.

Chiefs are a dominant 9-0 the last 7 years in wildcard and divisional rounds, but 4-2 in the conference title game with both losses in OT at home. It will truly be a coin flip next week regardless of who wins today. Of course I’m rooting for my Chiefs, but I wouldn’t put a single $ on it. Ravens and Bills both look great. Driving back from Erie,PA today and should be home just in time to watch!

 

and niners limping without anyone pretty much. Moody missed a gang of FG’s. God I hope that dude is gone come next season. Bring someone to camp to beat him out.

How did the lions lose to the dumpy ass REDSKINS

 

you know it’s bad when you watch the chiefs play and mahomes does that stupid NBA flop on the sidelines and the commentators on NATIONAL TELEVISION literally say there’s two roughing the passer calls against the Texans that were “bad penalty calls” AKA UTTER bullshit calls.

 

Skins/Commanders were better prepared and just out-played their opponent.

But...I think you knew this. lol

 

nah I didn’t watch the game. I honestly expected the lions to be the NFC Super Bowl pick. I didn’t expect the Vikings to lose either.

either the eagles get rolled up today or it’s going to be a NFC East showdown next week which will be of epic proportions.

 

I watched the first half and went to bed...darn game was on too late.

Expected Lions to play better at home but that didn't happen.

In today's 3pm game, whoever wins will host the NFC Championship...since Washington is the lowest seeded team.

Of course, I'm rooting for L.A. since I'm a transplant to Delaware via the US Air Force.

My adopted East Coast Team are the Ravens...

I've been watching them for the past 5 years, since local cable TV (I've deleted cable) showed TriState Area Teams.

I've watched both Jackson & Allen and feel Jackson is itching to get past KC.

Not to take away from Allen, he deserves to meet the Chiefs too.

Who has more to prove? My pick is Jackson...if he disappoints again, my enthusiasm for him will dwindle down due to chances given + age.

 

What a terrible call. How was that unnecessary roughness?!? He caused an incompletion

 

This game is much more exciting than yesterday's games...because I'm awake!

And the Rams are Playoff tested.

 

I think the receiver was coming down and the defender’s shoulder caught him in the head. But in the old days that would have been a great play!

 

Man! Rams better start tackling better than that! lol
