What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

The last gun show I went to in Cobb County Georgia. There was a pistol sitting on a box that didn’t match the pistol. I said something to the vendor and at that moment he realized that he had been stolen from. He had the nerve to ask me if I stole the pistol? I said yea dumbass like I would hang around and tell on myself WTF

 

I guess tomorrow

 

Actually got this around Christmas seems to be made like they used to. Oiled it and put it away

 

What’s also funny is when everyone is outside waiting to get in to the gun show and they tell everyone on the speaker that you can’t bring a loaded gun into the show so people go back to their vehicles to put their gun back. Now everyone knows that there is a gun inside that vehicle that’s gonna be there for an hour or more. Dumbazz

 

We rushed through a show last year because I had a specific AK I wanted. Found it in the last table of course. Then decided to work back through taking our time. I almost carried rifle out to car but figured that would be a dumb move for this exact reason so carried it around for a couple hours. Thankfully we sore back packs to put other stuff in

 

No ... I will NOT say it.

 

Oh but is there a warning I should receive?

 

I have seen people at gun shows make trips out to the car/truck to stash stuff. I have always thought that was a stupid idea.

 

We have been walking through and grabbing smaller stuff and taking mental notes of where we find heavier stuff like ammo and then just grabbing it right before we leave

 

So ups says delivery on Friday…….early delivery on Thursday…….oh wait now Friday again………oops my bad now it’s next Friday while the package is only an hour and a half away. I found a phone number finally and filed a complaint

 

My 6 ARC took a vacation on FedEx before showing up at my dealer. Shreveport, LA to NW Arkansas. I can drive it in 6 hours. Went from Shreveport to Memphis to LA (the one on fire) to AZ to NM to KS to AR. Only took 14 days. Was actually surprised how good the box looked and it didn't smell like smoke.

 

Good you finally got it. The whole shipping thing is rediculous. I called and complained, first time I’ve done that. Said they were going to g to look into it and contact me. We will see just absolutely rediculous to leave it sitting in Richmond and hour and a half away. Guy at work ordered an upper at Christmas time and same crap happened to him. Almost makes you wonder if they check gin stuff

 

Met with @virginiamarine today. Had coffee and talked a while. Good guy I enjoyed myself lots in common. It’s always nice to meet folks you talk with in here in person

 

Nothing impressive...PSA sent me one of their emails, which I just had to look at. I decided that I needed an AR pistol for a late BD present. I bought a 7.5" kit, it will give me something to do one afternoon putting it together.

 

I bought one of their .300 BLk complete uppers last year and it would not cycle at all. I sent it back for warranty and they fixed it and I had it back in my hands complete turn around time was 4 days. I was impressed.

 

So I bought a needle oiler as I'm out of Gun Butter which lasts me for 4 or 5 yrs as I use it only on triggers was about $7 bucks plus tax in 2019 now $15 plus tax great stuff but damn thats $$$$$

 

Stopped by LGS to see if they had Magpuls new MOE RL stock on hand. No luck there, but they do have a bundle that includes a H&K mp5 22lr in FDE, SB Tactical folding brace, and extra 25 round magazine for $530. Trying to decide if I should go back and buy it. Seems like too good of a deal to pass up.

 

Just won a bid on a Kimber Aegis Elite Custom in 45acp. Excited to get this in.

 

Those things last forever. I have one that's about 4 or 5 years old and it's only used about 1/4 of the way from the top. I use it mostly on slides and triggers.
