No hate here for Bills or their fans, just a healthy rivalry. If the Bills win I will be happy for them if they win the SB … it’s been a long time coming. That said, GO CHIEFS!

As a kid, I started out a Rams fan...because my dad was a fan.

He would get truly bent-out-of-shape when they lost! (Funny to watch but not fun times)

I think the time the Rams went to the SB to play the Steelers and lose was a time changing event for him.

Anyhow, Rams went to St Louis and Raiders came to L.A. and won a SB in 1983.

Liked them ever since!

Raiders left and all of sudden Rams come back...not forgetting to mention the Chargers.

I don't live in L.A. and would not want to...like the quiet life here in Delaware.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

 

I see the Bills as the Red Sox/Cubs of the NFL..heartbreak after heartbreak for so long. As a Red Sox fan I can identify

 

KC Joyner of ESPN just likened some of the KC flops to the Finger Poke Of Doom..haha, if anyone gets that one it's a good comparison.

That said, Madden is a legend. Marcus Allen, Biletnikoff, Upshaw, Stabler. All that success was before I moved to KC and was great to watch. So they weren’t a rival for me then.

 

They've never been the same with Haircut in charge.

 

You will watch the Chiefs Superbowl where the Eagles lose despite picking up 100 more yards with zero turnovers.

You will watch Kelce propose to Taylor Swift on field as canned press statements are released from media outlets that would have had no reason to see this coming.

You will be forced to agree that "despite a few bad calls I guess the Chiefs are just a better team."

And you will be happy.

 

And his new young girlfriend says she didn’t know he was rich and fell for his smile.

What's not to believe?

 

Agreed, unless the defense bails them out. With their D as stout as it is, I think the (passing) offense (ahem, Hurts) will still have some wiggle room to underperform.

As has been the case all season. I don't know how much of it is play calling/design vs his inability to execute. I'm watching the all 22 now as I type this to see how frequently he missed open guys yesterday. He holds onto the ball far too long, and takes too long to decide to bail. I understand wanting to get the ball down the field, but for whatever reason he's just not being as decisive.

Honestly, I think they can win next week against the Commodores even with Hurts passing as mediocrely as it feels like he has been if the following things continue:

- Defense remains as good as they have been
- They win the turnover battle
- Running game continues to dominate

I wouldn't be mad if this is the recipe they use to win next week. A team can still be successful even if one half of your offense underperforms, as long as the other half performs and the defense plays tough.

Wore one of my jerseys today out running errands in Burbank and got several go birds shout outs. Love a victory Monday.

But, our married daughters mentioned "Mean Girls" to one of our SILs and he said "never saw it"...they teased him by saying we have it on DVD! lol

So, back the the Raiders...I love how members chime in with their memes when certain things are mentioned.

Chiefs only loss with starters in 13 months is to the Bills. Eagles only loss since September is to the Commanders. Should be interesting. Hope both games are close and fair!
