Thanks for the update, Ryan! Just messaged him now.

 

Looks like they are partially in the moderate area and partially in the extreme, Castaic being more north on the 5 above Santa Clarita he's probably more in the 4 to 5 zone. But the fire danger in the whole area will be way up so good to be on alert.

Fortunately for the sake of the Palisades/Malibu zone that got leveled by fire last week, the winds are mostly avoiding that area this time. But the Altadena area is going to get hit pretty good again. Not as bad but the last thing they need is the wind picking the hot spots back up.

He just called and said he is at a History Museum in LA. He said he has only seen fires from a far distance. He is a trained fireman. He'll let me know when he gets back to the hotel where he is staying for work.

 

Well...for the first time, my kid has rejected food.

He normally loves quinoa with chicken but today he decided no so Biscuit got a treat.





Least he still likes squash, zucchini, and bell peppers.

Definitely already a strong kiddo

I think textures are starting to affect him more though than actual taste - he rejected his oatmeal yesterday morning too but ate all the fruit off of it.
