I use what my mechanic puts in, he uses what Toyota recommends. I’m not smart enough to know / care, I trust Bill. Morning stockers :hattip: I’ll go move snow around today , I’m somewhat qualified to do that :D

You just had to remind about my coworkers who replied, "You're right!" After complaining that "This weather sucks!" I'd reply that, "No, it really blows."
Cordova could always count on having sustained winds over 100 mph for four hours at least once a winter. Barrier jets... High pressure over the interior blocked air mass winds from the Gulf of Alaska, so the CCW air around the low would be compressed against the coast range as the circled from SW to S against the mountains to E'ly through the passes like like the Lake Eyak Gap (where you couldn't quite be sure who'd be making the frequency change between the city strip and Mudhole Smith Airport).

"Like a good neighbor, Mark is there..." ( Sorry, we often lapse into that old state farm commercial. If it fits, we might use it.)

+9 F. yesterday morning, +19 at 4 this morning on the prairie. Mostly sunny 'til Thursday, but La Nina winter is wetter, and will get colder and snowier at 2300' toward spring. Ski areas have had 7' to play with for more than a month. I don't mind not shoveling so rain at lower elevations is OK as long as we get a good snowpack for irrigation and recharging aquifers during the summer...

    upload_2025-1-21_11-34-7.png

supposed to warm up as you can see. Woot.

Glad I got the heat pump replaced in November. My Grandaughter got out on her sled for the first time, up 'ere in Maine. Hope it warms up, but not too much, before I get back there for her birthday next month.
