    Hey everyone first post here.

Planning on doing a lift kit and 33's for my 2021 TRD OR DCSB. I plan on runnning 16 X 8 0 offset wheels with 4.5 in backspacing and 285 75 16 tires. I am fine with doing any cutting or cab mount chop as necessary.

I am very intersted in the Eibach Pro lift as it seems affordable and has great reviews. My question is what set up should I go with in the rear as well as what notch should I run this on? I do not have any armor or bumpers on the truck and do not plan to get any in the future. I haul my dirtbike once a week and occasionally pull a small landscape trailer. I do not want to run blocks and I would like the truck to sit level as possible unloaded but also maintain a decent ride quality. I also would like to know if you all recomended I get aftermarket UCA's. As far as I understand there is no downsides to getting them and that it will only help me with alignment and suspension travel. Any and all advice is appreciated thank you.

Go with the stage 2, you can even go with the 2r kit that gives you the reservoirs in the rear. Leave the fronts set to what they were out of the box, and do a 1.5" 3 leaf add a leaf in the rear. You will get a nice level look, and around 2.5 inches of lift all around. I'm really happy with my eibach stage 2r kit, combined with some bump stops, and it rides nice and smooth. I did have to do a cab mount chop to fit my 285-70-17 tires though20250106_105011.jpg 20250106_104957.jpg

hell ya @808stateofmind truck looks sweet. I am starting to read into the stage 2 kit and it looks great I will probably go for it. Do you have stock UCA's? and did you instal the sway bar drop brackets? also where should I buy from?

I did the 2.0 Stage 2 set at 2 1/2" https://eibach.com/product/E86-82-007-01-22?epsid=1920 and stayed with factory UCAs (added 1" rear blocks) years ago and have been tickled with them. I only had a few thousand miles on my new truck when I replaced the factory suspension and the difference was night/day. It smooths out the bumps and potholes and makes the tires stick when 4-wheeling in the mountains. Allows me to lower the front of the truck when towing my trailer. Possibly the best upgrade I've done to my truck.

That is awesome @NorrinRadd truck looks sweet I love that color. It must be pretty darn easy to adjust the ride height with the spanner wrench they give you?? How often do you mess with your ride height and is it really that easy? thanks again for the advice everyone eibach stage 2 seems like the way to go

I went with the old man emu UCA's. You'd probably be fine with stock uca on only 2.5" of lift, but i wanted the extra articulation. I did install the sway bar drop brackets, I think it required, otherwise it will rub. I think i bought my kit from tacoma lifestyle, but I'd buy it from wherever has the cheapest shipping

Just to visit, I went up there to take my daughters piko (umbilical cord) and put it in lake waiau. So it was kind of a special trip up there.

Check out the larger Eibach thread here: "Eibach pro lift kit" (284 pages discussing both stage 1 and stage 2 kits)

I've been running the Stage 1 Eibach lift for about a year now, and I'm happy. It's just a little stiff on the 2nd clip, but it provided the right amount lift up front that I was looking for (~2.5 - 2.75" front lift). I was able to get the front aligned properly on the stock UCAs.

I lifted the rear with the Icon AAL kit, but only got about 1" - 1.25" of lift from it, so I ended up adding a 1" block to bring the rear up to get a slightly raked stance. If I had to do it again, I would go with a different AAL kit as I did not originally want to run blocks in the rear.

PS - I purchased the Eibach Stage 1 lift from Wheelers Offroad while it was on a great sale (I believe they run a number of sales throughout the year).

I’m not running extended brake lines or a diff drop. I haven’t had any issues after a year of driving on the lift.

Nope, none of that and no problems and wheels have stayed aligned just perfectly. [knocks on wood]

No extended brake lines, but i did drill and tap a hole in the bracket of the new aal, because the rear brake lines didn't bolt up like stock. I did do a diff drop.ive read that you do and don't need it, but I decided to do it

I went with the Eibach pro truck 2R set at factory height. JBA UCAs. Deaver stage 1 in the rear with accutune bump stop/ ubolt flip kit.
285/70/17 with 0 offset. Got a CMC just to be safe. It rides so much better than my stock setup.

I’ve been driving on my 2R kit with JBA uca’s for about 2 years now. Currently running a 255/80/17 WP at4. I dont remember what my lift heights are anymore, somewhere around 2” in front. I put a 1” block in the rear which is about due to get swapped out for an aal or leaf pack. The block will get you by but it steals up travel from your rear shocks making them prone to top out on bigger hits. I did install the sway bar relocation, would recommend it. As far as uca’s, I was on the fence about doing them when I put the lift on or waiting but I just bit the bullet and did it. Happy that I did, avoids potential issues. All in all, I’m very happy with the kit for what it is, for the price, it’s a quality kit. It’s nice being able to adjust height with them installed, being it’s a steel body, just make sure you jack it up first and give the threads a squirt of your preferred weasel piss. I played with adjusting the front up when I first put it on but it rides like absolute hell once you start cranking that collar up too far. The lower you keep that collar the better it will ride. I suppose that’s obvious but there is a point where it stops getting marginally worse and starts getting exponentially worse.
