Twenty years ago I hit one in my Corolla at night. First I saw it, it was already upside down going past my drivers side window. Sometimes there’s nothing you can do but squeeze the wheel tight. :annoyed:

Yeah dude, not insinuating anything. I've hit several in my lifetime. They just seem to come out of now where. I've have been lucky on a few occasions and seen them running across the road ahead of me. I always slow down to around 20mph until I know I'm passed the area. They always seem to run in numbers. If you see one, more than likely there will be another.

I gotcha. I thought maybe you had interpreted my first post as I had intentionally hit that deer

Truck will live to see another day and I’ll get a better bumper on there soon :fistbump:

I actually have a friend who saw a buck running towards the road in front of him, he slowed down to let it get closer then floored it to hit the deer - perfectly timed!!!! 8 point. He had me make him a Chevy 'bowtie' plaque to mount the antlers on!!!! His first buck ever.

As Bugs Bunny would say - What a Maroon

On my way to work this morning I saw some eyes in the road, there were 2 crossing. I slowed down to about 25 and there was a whole gaggle of them fixing to cross. At least 5 more I could see, I laid on the horn and they just looked at me.

Why is it you go hunt and they run from you when they see you but you get in your vehicle and lay on the horn they just look at you?
