    Our season closes on the 20th as well. But “She who must be obeyed” is off, so I planned on spending the day with her.

    Season ends tomorrow here too, I had a good year, 1 buck and 2 doe’s. Cleaned the hunting rig up yesterday and put hunting gear away. Looking forward to shed hunting as soon as the snow is gone.

    Our flintlock season is 21 days. I hunted 13 of them. She’d hold dinner several nights a week, Saturdays…

    So, we’ll get breakfast, hit up some Amish furniture stores, and whatever else she wants to do.

    Great weather conditions if you have a good food source.

    You’ve always got one more in the tanks. I’m out here for two more sits. Maybe I can put another pig in the cooler.

    First year since 1980 or 1981 that I didn't archery hunt by choice. It has been weird, not going out at all. Ohio's archery/deer season ends Feb. 2nd.
    I do appreciate all the pics/stories of you successful hunters so I could "hunt vicariously" thru you guys.

    Well, the area I park at is more of a pull off. And makes a great place for plows to push snow. Yeah, the pull-off had about 2-3 feet of snow. Packed, frozen, snow. Was a nice drive anyway.

    Ain’t much more relaxing than a nice drive in the winter wonderland (as long as safety is a given)

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    The road I was on, I have been driving to and from work since 2010-ish. My favorite drives are either in the summer in the Jeep with the top off, OR, coming home right at dusk after a new snow and the road ain't been traveled. Let's just say the traction control light/beeper gets a pretty good work out.

    Shhhh don’t let anyone know you’ve got a jeep. You’ll end up like me, lurking in the shadows of TW to avoid detection :rofl:
