    Dang that sucks. Those colors are littered all throughout my local hobby shop.

    They had a whole section just for Tamiya, and another for Traxxas paints.

    I only mixed the way I did because I felt a few specific Traxxas paints were "brighter". The rest are Tamiya as I've used them before.

    I just cancelled the order, and reordered them again. Should be here Thursday maybe.
    Or I may end up with two sets.

    @Strictlytoyz
    @Deathbysnusnu

    Not that it matters I guess but, did y'all notice that the skid doesn't have the hole up top for the transmission?

    Well I don't have a transmission available as the LGRP got installed in the SCX24.

    It will and should though, since it has the deep cut out.

    And I remember Mazz saying in his video that the top hole isn't important. He mentions this due to the use of some cheap Chinese variants (aliexpress, etc) don't line up. The two bottom holes are the most important.

    Just would've liked to have used it though since it would match the common transmissions like LGRP, Furitek, Injora, and many others.

    I'm just waiting for my links :rofl:

    Once they arrive I'll assemble the chassis when the kid naps, and then we'll head to the hobby store to grab a servo horn.

    The screw used to hold the servo horn is too big to fit through the pivot cup on the Meus.

    I suppose it could be drilled and countersunk if it's really needed. At this scale, there can't be that much torque, especially with the proliferate use of m1.4 screws.

    Didn't notice because I'm not exactly sure what stuff is supposed to look like on an scx24 platform lol. My trans fits good though. Doesn't seem like it needs the mount up top

    I only recall the top hole from his video (vaguely).

    Wasn't until I replaced the transmission on the SCX24 that I actually saw it for mysel - removing two on the bottom and one up top.

    I only now pulled all my 3D printed parts as I'm about to assemble things and noticed the lack of a hole up top. But like you and Mazz stated, not even necessary to use.

    Just thought it was funny to see it gone altogether.

    @Deathbysnusnu pick out a body and color scheme yet?

    We got rainbow colored vomit covered by me, @Strictlytoyz is doing a realistic paint job with patina

    Still have to get around to cutting and painting my 1/10 Tacoma body. I plan on using the score and snap method and some sharp scissors, probably going to have the body shop at work mix up a bit of Pyrite Mica to match my truck. Also thinking about using ProLine Metallic Pewter, it looks pretty close too.

    More parts showed today and axles are on track to be here Thursday, was Wednesday..... Amazon must be unhappy with my daily ordering, they keep pushing delivery dates back a day. They are the last part needed. Plus maybe a body...
    A yellow short bus might fit me well.:D
