I'm trying to clean everything out, but I've been so tempted when I see them at Costco!

Beef and barley stew is filling on cold days. I made more cornbread, which will last two more meals.

    Stay warm, everyone.

Happy belated Anniversary to you and your wife Gary

    Hi Sue
Glad Giz likes the snow. Has she made any doggie snow angels yet? I have seen them lay on their backs and wiggle side to side...fun to watch them having fun.

Have a safe day and stay warm :fistbump:

Ken: I am in the gym most every day. I started on a machine exercise program in December with emphasis on the legs. My surgery is on Feb 6th and today is a dental visit, for cleaning and the dental release form. Later on is a visit from the visiting therapist to get the home ready for my recovery and home PT. I had a decent doctor visit last week, for medical clearance form and some mandatory test. I was suprised at my weight loss after the crazy holiday season.

Since the board has a relay to switch power to the oven, I would remove the board and inspect/clean the relay contacts. The price for a new control board seems high but a new oven would be worse. Doing the work yourself will probably save $200 on labor but you will need to go and pick up the part. I would look for the part locally rather than mail order. The control panel for my microwave cost $125 and I needed one because of a faulty manual, read plastic, light switch. I had to teach the family to be gentle with the three buttons rather than smacking them. I kept the old panel for repairs in the future.

Good morning. Still chilly locally this morning. Getting ready for my dental appointment. Hope to make the gym this afternoon.

Probably PC-DOS 2.1; long before any version of Windows came out.

LOL, yeah, I took my first class in computer programming in 1972; little did I know I was going to make a career out of it.

Wife accidentally bought non-fat half and half. Bllllllllllllllllllcccccccccccccccccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That isn't a real thing apparently. I mean something that isn't really possible.

    I went straight instead. Fine.

Well folks...I picked up my first Tacoma (SR5) yesterday. The drive home was LOVELY. Tomorrow, I have the cover put on it and then I'm hunting for an enclosed cargo trailer to pull for my furniture business. It's all coming together (Feelers out for something around a 6x12' enclosed trailer with min 16"oc floor supports for something around $3k)

That truck is sweet...I must say. The only thing I didn't get (that I probably wanted) was the model that had the Straight Path Assist feature (I think TRD was the first available). But I did get the cold weather package - which felt really good yesterday.

I noticed how the steering stiffens when you turn on the adaptive cruise control - I'm not sure I like that feeling so much. Without it, the truck drives like my old VW CC - which was a real pleasure to drive.

    - Gary

You mean people here actually own Tacomas?

    JK - WELCOME!

Wow, my MT 2019 Sport, none of that stuff. Thank goodness!

I would think - particularly in the 60+ group - that a warmed lumbar area (how's that for a colloquialism!) is something that would be appreciated! :)

OK I lied. I have heated seats and mirrors. I was referring to the driving assist stuff, 2019 Sport has some of it, mostly turned off.

Seat heater is fricking awesome! I use it to warm my ass and thigh muscles before weight, pump, yoga classes and pickleball. Gives a geezer an edge and no muscle blow outs or tendon detachments.
