I think our weather station froze, it won’t go above 0*, morning Paul

 

They can be fragile. I need (want) to get a new one as mine disconnects transmitting when it’s really humid. I think I have a short or bad connection in the pc board inside of the unit.

 

I was joking, it works pretty good, I would like a wind sensor. Which reminds me, I should put new batteries in the outdoor sensor

Good morning everybody, have a great Wednesday!

We woke up to a crisp 15* with a windchill of 9*. Snow total was 7-7.5” at my house. Looking like a 8.8” reading somewhere in my city is the new state record.

I just got through shoveling snow so my dog has a spot to take care of business I can’t believe I just had to shovel snow lol.

Roads are a mess, I-10 is closed from the state line to 70miles east of here. All 3 bridges over he bays and river swamps connecting the south end of the county are closed. Our ECC (911 center) isn’t dispatching calls unless it’s an active fire or a CPR in progress call. Not a day to be stupid.

Oldest living member of the Gibson Gals turns 103 on 1/30/25. Women made all the guitars during WW 2, that’s her sitting in the old Kalamazoo factory a few years ago, 225 Parsons Street.

I'm honestly curious- do they even sell snow shovels in Florida?

My brother has a few ice scrapers that he'd get when he visited Baltimore, he'd throw them in the cars for a conversation piece.
