Have you thought about buying a used U-Haul 6x12? I've pulled several of them with my 2022 Tacoma and they tow very comfortably and when they are loaded to the gills, the fact they have their own brakes is a definite plus.

My wife and I have had butt warmers on at least a half-dozen of our vehicles, she loves them, I hate them. Every time I get in one of our vehicles where she was the previous driver, I barely make it out of the driveway before I'm scrambling to turn the darn things off.

Hmmm, on the third Gen Tacomas there is no difference in steering when adaptive cruise control is engaged. I think that would drive me crazy as depending on traffic, I regularly switch between adaptive and constant speed.

I looked into this. Turns out Uhaul Truck Sales does not sell the trailers :( Do you know of another place to purchase them?

Wow, 18 degrees this morning heading for 26. Some snow here. I think we're past the worst of it but still cold the next couple of nights but at least back into the 20s during the day. Better next week. It is January in Michigan, February can be cold too. But this time will pass. Usually by February I'm ready for warmer weather.

Interesting, I just assumed they sold them when they got long in the tooth.

I poked around a bit and came up with this one on fleabay (which all else being equal, I think I'd prefer over the U-Haul trailer): https://www.ebay.com/itm/405491209681

Looks so good and he indirect heating is the way to go. Sometimes I wait till the breast is at 150 degrees then finish them off with a sear over the coals, usually a minute on each side. Something about charred meat that makes it look better, to me.

Best of luck today, Chuck. My prayers will include you today.

Good morning. It is 7 degrees at 8am in our back yard. I have an extremely busy day today. Everything went well yesterday and most of my knee replacement questions were answered.
