Honestly, up to about 6-8 inches of snow, the wife's audi with all season tires and all wheel drive is way better in the snow. Mud tires are pretty crap in small amounts and especially bad when it gets packed down.

That being said, I didn't swap out my 4wd actuators this morning for nothing :D

If we do get a substantial amount, I'll probably hop downtown. We drove down king Street in 2018 snow. Pretty surreal being the only vehicle around.

A couple buddies are going downtown I think tonight. I’m waiting until tomorrow and gonna mess around James Island. Particularly the parking lot of o2 fitness. Lots of open space there.

We just got a few inches of wet sleet. I imagine the roads are going to pretty terrible. But looks like there’s actual snow falling now. Was kinda cool just listening to ice bounce off the windows last night. We didn’t lose lower which was a surprise.

just went for a walk. Solid sheet of ice. My feet didn’t break the crust of ice on the grass very easily.

May have to call out myself.. Don't mind I work from home. I didn't get the essential bread/milk/eggs

This is light fluffy snow, not sleet/ice this time

Like most men, I am unable to accurately measure more than 3" but we definitely got some decent snow on James Island. Brushed the snow off and got the doors open, gonna take the truck out in a couple hours to mess around.

    • Neighbors broke out the 4 wheelers and everyone got to go tubing. Kids had an absolute blast.

im convinced we didn't get a single snowflake and this is 2-3 inches of straight sleet. stuff is so heavy!
neighbors brought thier 1.5 year old over so the little ones could play around. lots of confusion with the "cold sand" but lots of fun. round two after nap time. koi pond survived too, which is a win. didn't even think about those guys last night.

Mine were out eating all the ice off the leaves that were low enough to reach. Been a fun morning.
