Sure, I could. And I'm definitely more than comfortable cutting into a new truck and building whatever someone desires for it; Absolutely anything is possible with enough money, time and desire.
Hell I cut the whole rear section of the frame off from my wifes pristine 2 year old/25k mile 3rd gen on a whim. Replaced the frame with boxed steel and trailing arm 3-linked the truck. But thats far from what the average person is going to do to a newer truck.
I bet theres certainly going to be a lot of people who will be unaware of the welded-in hitch and want to modify their 4th gen like previous generations to gain clearance but unwilling to accept voiding frame warranty on their new truck.

If someone brings me a truck with some cash and a desire to cut it up and mod it, sure will! Locally it seems the 4th gen has had an extremely slow roll out and adoption. I still only see maybe 1-3 of them daily on my commute. And I've only had a handful of people reach out (local or not) with interest in getting parts for one. Then when we say we need a truck to design on for a few weeks they're gone and never heard from again. At the price point of new vehicles it's really hard to buy them all as development rigs and put in the necessary time to both design and test to ensure the multitude of electronics are still happy, yet owners of the new trucks don't want to give up their brand new vehicle for more than a day or 2 which is simply too little time to do real, meaningful work in designing and testing any parts.

I am down to let you borrow the truck for a week and some change for some R&D.

I can let you have it after February February 17 to The 28th.

Let me know. I am just in Stockton. I can make the drive. Or maybe sooner to give you a little bit more time. Maybe the beginning of February till the 14th or something. Either way, let me know so I can plan for it
