2021 offroad shock upgrade to bilstein 5100s. Worth doing?

    I think the pic above is a bit deceiving. The clean shocks looks more extended, but is it beefier? The old shock in the pic, is compressed, cause they should be the same length. Only the 5100 gives you up to 2" more length and is definitely a beefier shock. Beefier is better ride, wether you use the whole 2" extension or not.

    Best part about the 2" lift, was getting ride of the oem brake dive.

    That's an interesting read. :thumbsup:

    Bottom line for me though, was getting rid of the oem brake dive. Not sure if the 4600 would do it.

    Welp, I put on 5100s cause I hated the stink bug ass in the air look. Middle notch leveled me out proper. Then added air bags to fix the notoriously soft rear end and it’s perfect for my needs traveling SOB (south of border).IMG_9847.jpg

    I recently changed to 4600s (I have an off-road), and it made it the exact difference I was looking for. Less squishy especially with stops and better ride both on and off road
