    Tisas also makes a double stack 1911 (17 rounds) but its about 300 bucks more.

    I own the 1911 45 acp bobtail version of the Tisas. Right now I'm not real happy with it. It will shoot ball ammo all day long but jams when trying to shoot reloads or hollow points. I'm going to give it a little more time to break in and if that doesn't resolve the issues, it's back to Tisas. I almost wish I'd gone with the 9mm bobtail instead.
