This is not a sale post and not even a feeler, just looking for opinions on pricing. The days of my taco are almost over. It's served me well the last 10-11 year but its time for me to move on to a bigger and newer truck. I haven't really looked at prices much in the last few years and I know prices are all over depending on the area.

    Details
    -02 TRD 5spd 4x4 xcab
    -205K
    -ARB bumper
    -Snorkle
-OME springs and shocks on all corners
    -upgraded headlight harness
    -16" alloy? wheels
-weather tech floor mats in front
-ceramic driver/pass window tint at 35% and windshield ceramic at 70% (clear for heat/uv)

    The bad
-Developing rust hole in frame at driver side spring hanger
    -AC compressor locked up
    -valve covers leaking
-power steering randomly squealing or getting tight (maybe just low fluid haven't checked)
-needs alignment/front end work, eating up front tires
-CEL po136 comes on fairly often
-past due for timing belt/water pump job
-exhaust hanger needs welded, coat hanger keeps breaking lol
-hood and roof clear coat/paint fading and peeling

Extras on hand that I haven't had time or money to install
-Have safetcap plates for the frame repairs
-all parts for the valve cover job
-fuel pump - works fine but figured dropping the tank for frame repair and 200k
-skid plate and trans skid plate from 4xinn
-sliders 4xinn (frame mounts welded to truck, slides were cut off)
    -ac compressor
    -OEM 15"wheels

I'm thinking I'd price it two ways. One with everything extra included and one for just the truck and sell the extras to hopefully recoup some of the money.

What thoughts do you all have on pricing point? Personally thinking 6-7k and if no bites start lowering.

    Thanks for any input!

Find comparable in your area and see what they’re asking. Check marketplace or Craigslist

personally, I stray away from rusty frame no matter how cheaper unless I got a clean frame to swap.

Im right there with you on the rust. I couldn't begin to count how many trucks I've looked at only to see the carfax and find it had been up north for a few years - instant pass for me.

I'll have to dig a little more, the only 1st gen tacoma on craigslist in the area was listed for 30k :jpow:

It seems like the market isn’t what it used to be. My 2001 TRD has been for sale for weeks at $10k with no bites. Kinda shocked considering it’s a clean truck with a spotless Texas frame.

Sounds like the truck needs $3-$4k in work (frame weld, front end, timing belt, CEL) among others, so keep that in mind in pricing. In other words, if these fixes were done, would it be a $10k truck? Sounds high for something with underside rust, clear coat fail, and 200kmi, but if the interior is excellent and the rest is otherwise stock, it could be. Good luck --
