Okay so you're running windows 11, did you get the dell printer to work. If not give me the exact model number of the dell printer and I'll see what I can find.

They do this shit on purpose, they stop issuing updates for operating systems making them obsolete. They stop creating new drivers for older printers on newer operating systems just to force you to upgrade and buy a newer printer, which isn't always a better printer. Personally I wish that windows would have never stopped supporting XP. I think this was one of the better OS that they had created.

lol…Dell bought rebranded Lexmark’s initially, before developing their own hardware. Funny part (the laserjet), they will still work using the HP base drivers. Dell, unless things changed, still offers all of their drivers online, including just the individual rather than forcing “the package” install. I too have been out of that for some time and must rely on friends to update me on things.

4’ is a baby... unless he snuck up on you, you’re likely to win. If you’re a dumbass, then you’re likely to be bit and maybe lose part of a limb.

Mine is an older one. It lasts much better than the injet junks I had.
I learned my lesson about the software support and downloaded to my backup external drive I have, saving it for the rainy day.

Smart choice. I have always created two folders on my HDD: \Drivers and \TEMO Every driver (that works) I install goes in that folder, in case I have to reinstall or migrate. TEMO was for temporary storage of software installs I didn’t posess CD/Disk. I backed these up before upgrades, etc.
