Jones has a bunch of 2025 Land Cruisers on the lot. Most seem to have a 4K discount.

I’m sorry but anyone who buys one of these is an idiot! $56-70k for an underpowered wannabe LC is ridiculous. For the same amount of money you can get a better looking GX with a twin-turbo v6 out of the Tundra.

To me it makes ZERO sense that Toyota would do this… offer two vehicles, one far superior to the other and yet charge the same price. It’s like the new Tacoma prices compared to a new Tundra all over again. Why pay the same for less, when you can have so much more?? Soon dealer lots will be flooded with these just like they are currently with new Tacomas. Just too much money for too little… and people know it. That’s why they are already on discounts.

Just because they slap the name Land Cruiser on the back, doesn’t make it a Land Cruiser… it just tricks the morons out there into wasting money. The old ones were top notch luxury on the inside with the capabilities of a Land Rover or Humvee on the outside. This so called LC is just rubbish!

lol, no worries from my end on this. I’m not a fan of the look and have said in the past that Toyota has too many similarly priced SUVs and then the overlap with Lexus. Not that I’m going to get anything. While I like the looks of the new Tacoma, don’t like the price or that I can get everything I want without buying a pro. A 4R would need to be the OR Premium for a minimum of what I want. Like you said, a little bit more and you could get a GX and they have everything plus more.

Depending if I have to go into the office everyday, I might have to find me a beater with good gas mileage or put my oem tires back on and take the roof rack off. I can only make it one full trip without needing to get gas (140 miles round trip)

Awesome that it worked out for you. How do the seat covers attach to the seat? I'm curious to see them once they get installed.

Has anyone ever ordered anything from Aliexpress? I've been looking for an oddball thread pitch sized cap and they have them, I've never dealt with them before.

 

Probably right. Maybe once my truck is paid off I’ll get something I’ll plan on my kid getting once he can drive. If it’s something new now, it’ll be 3 years old when he gets it, so not bad and would still be reliable. Not like when I was in high school and went through several $500 beaters

Are there still $500 beaters someone can get? Maybe $1500 now…

I’ve bought several things from there. You’re just cutting out the middleman selling the same things on eBay or Amazon 3rd party. Bought my current ditch lights from there for under 20 bucks. They were priced at 70 or more on Amazon.

There is a thread here somewhere of people ordering bed caps from there too.

 

Not quite sure yet, looks like full cover wraps with heavy velcro… and I believe bottoms wrap and clips for underneath. It’s been way too cold out to even think of starting the install… may be a while yet. lol

So peeps… thinking of changing up my build and selling off the bed system. CBI overland rack, CBI traction board mounts and CBI Hi-Lift mount.

First step would be to put a feeler out and see if there’s any interest. Here’s the link:

Next would be if it’s financially smart. Retail is $600 plus tax and $45 flat rate shipping for the rail system. The Hi-Lift mount is $130 and the traction board mounts were $140 plus tax and shipping as well.

Anyone possibly interested? I have no idea what I would ask for them price wise… what are you guys thinking would be fair to ask or start the listing at?? Total I’m at $870 w/o shipping or tax.
