Dell is decent about that. Because they have a massive corporate clientele. Many moons ago, I was certified for all Dell for my client. I understand this is very different and dysfunctional now.

 

It can apply to anyone you encounter. Short term, long term. Whatever.

Take this place for example:

(unless they're actually the same person )

@HoboDave has ghosted us, but doesn't do that as much anymore.

We are an acquired taste… too much of a good thing and all. I had to take a break at one point due to overload. I haven’t ghosted anyone in the modern age way, but certainly have in the past by just not keeping in touch (move, etc.). It’s the reason I don’t engage in social media. There are people I didn’t keep in contact with that I’d rather not “find” me. None of it would be terrible, but there’s a reason I didn’t keep in touch. I’ve reunited at reunions and heard about the social media clicks, etc. Because I’m not in those, I must be too much work to keep in touch with. I am one of those people that they recognize and come up to tho… “Hey, remember me? Nope.”
